Explanation

For each product, the relevant data sheets and operating instructions can be opened.

Relevance

The documents pertaining to the product are not, unlike other data, saved in a local SQLite database, but are always retrieved directly from the central database via web services.

Illustration

The illustration shows a list of documents for one product in a grid.

Documents(18) means that there are 18 documents available for this product.

At the moment, there are 2 types of documents (Doc. type).
a) Data sheet
b) operating instruction
These documents are available in different languages.

Moving the cursor to the product triggers an automatic request for the document list via web service which is then displayed.

Double-clicking a record in the grid opens the relevant document.

In doing so, the document is directly accessed in a central database via web service.

Using web services ensures that documents are always available in their latest version saved on the central server.
